The projects of the Foundation
The Entrepreneurship Chair
The Toulouse Business School has just launched the Entrepreneurship Chair around a new teaching program: the "Young Entrepreneur" MBA. Four regional companies have agreed to be part of and finance the project: Gefiroga/Midica, Akerys, Omnium Finance and Trialis Chausson Matériaux whose chairman, Philippe Chausson, is an alumnus of the School (ESC 75) and President of the Steering Committee of the Fundraising Campaign. The objective is to create, in partnership with regional economic companies ready to hire a student of the school at the end of their 3 years of study, a process focused on management issues in small companies.
This program is a response to the new challenges facing small companies: the renewal of management teams, international sales development, and the promotion of innovation (in the areas of technologies and services). The Entrepreneurship chair's partner companies are committed to the development of course contents as well as the overseeing of future graduates and in doing so benefit from the fiscal incentives put into place within the framework of the "Aillagon" Law.
The Consulting Chair
Within the framework of the Foundation, the Toulouse Business School has launched a "Consulting" chair so as to better develop professions associated with consulting and in this way develop interest in such professions within the Toulouse Business School's student body.
Another objective is to position the Toulouse Business School as a major player in the area of training for the consulting professions. This chair follows the 2006 launching of the Management Consulting MBA in partnership with Syntec conseil en Management. The Management consulting firm Merlane is the principle partner of this chair (http://www.merlane.com) to which has also been associated SYGNATURES, an office of chartered accountants (http://www.sygnatures.com)
The Solidarity fund
The Foundation is the ideal instrument to enable the Toulouse Business School to meet its social objective of assistance to its most deserving students. A solidarity fund has thus been created within the Foundation through financing by alumni and company donations as well as by the initiatives of the students of the Toulouse Business School.
The Scholarship Committee is currently being put into place and will have as objective assistance to all of the students in the Toulouse Business School Group who find themselves in situations of financial difficulty. These scholarships will be discerned twice a year, in June and October. A budget of 50,000 euros has been set aside for 2008. BNP Paribas has recently given its agreement for the creation of an annual scholarship in the amount of 10,000 euros..
Talents et Avenir
The Toulouse Business School has just signed a partnership agreement with the recruiting office RH Partners concerning job-finding tools, notably the Talents et Avenir Forum (http://www.rh-partners.com).
RH Partners has become a major partner for the professional insertion of Toulouse Business School graduates and has set itself the objective of guiding current students, young graduates and alumni so as to further their careers.
RH Partners was created in 1984. It is a network of independent structures and cabinets in the area of human resources consulting. RH partners is present throughout France and abroad.
