"With the combined efforts of my associates, research professors, and various professional organisations, I have lead the Groupe ESC Toulouse to meet the utmost demands of international standards. This accomplishement is reinforced by our acheivement of the triple accréditation : the EQUIS in 2001 and its reaccreditation in 2004 for the maximum duration of five additional years, the AMBA in 2002, and the AACSB in 2003.
With the level of Globalisation changing our world today, french management schools can no longer be satisfied with a national reputation alone. To succeed in such a globally competitive world the business school must devote itself to success in an international environment."
Today, the Groupe ESC Toulouse is one of the rare international schools carrying the international triple accreditation. By choosing us, you are opting for academic excellence and a diplome that will be acknowledged anywhere in the world. Furthermore, Toulouse is the second largest university city next to Paris. Seductive not only for its cultural and economic wealth, but for its particularly dynamic environment condusive to academic success.
Our goal is to provide the tools our students need for the general practice of management as well as to offer a gateway to more specialized career choices later on. Through an abundance of academic, associative, and professional activities, the Groupe ESC Toulouse orients its students toward the acquisition of concrete skills needed for the future responsabilites of an enterprise.
With AACSB accreditation, Toulouse Business School achieved the grand slam and joined the ranks of the best international business schools, those who have been awarded all three certificates of excellence. In June 2004, only 21 business schools in the world, including 5 French Grandes Ecoles, enjoy this triple distinction of EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB accreditation.
Hervé PASSERON | In December 2003, Toulouse Business School obtained international accreditation from AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). This American certificate of excellence, awarded to the best business schools in the world, recognizes the high academic quality of TBS's programs, raised to the highest international standards. International accreditations are awarded for a specified period, at the end of which the institution has to go through the accreditation process once again: an in-depth strategic audit report, followed by a visit from the accreditors to verify on site the accuracy of the information given. This was the case for Toulouse Business School in 2004, which was audited again by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) for the EQUIS certificate. Following this audit, Toulouse Business School was awarded EQUIS accreditation for the second time, and for the maximum period possible - 5 years, until 2009. |
