A guarantee of high standards, an assurance of quality
  • With AACSB accreditation , Toulouse Business School achieved the grand slam and joined the ranks of the best international business schools.
  • In June 2004, only 21 business schools in the world, including 5 French Grandes Ecoles, enjoy this triple distinction of EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB accreditation.

The main processes evaluated by all 3 accreditation systems are :

    • the coherence of the institution's strategy
    • the quality and effectiveness of the management of faculty (recruitment, development, promotion)
    • the production of intellectual contributions (faculty qualifications, research); for each program of studies: the coherence of the program and courses, the processes for renewing programs and courses
    • the rigor of the student selection process, student follow-up and placement, and the development and improvement in teaching methods and program content
    • the solidity of links with the professional world.

The procedure that leads to accreditation is a long one (several years, 2 to 3 for AACSB). It is also a very demanding one, involving all the parties concerned.

  • The rigor and scrupulousness of this process and the constant verification of information guarantees the seriousness of these accreditations and -by the same token- the quality of Group ESC Toulouse's programs.
  • EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB ACCREDITATIONS: A WORLDWIDE REFERENCE FOR HIGHER EDUCATION

Higher education today is a highly internationalized, extremely competitive sector. For candidate students, companies, professional organizations, research professors, universities seeking partnerships-in short, for all concerned with business education, it is becoming increasingly difficult to get one's bearings and make informed, confident decisions.

Beyond what an organization says about itself, in its own communications, how can one analyze in-depth the quality of its programs ?

    • How can one ascertain the academic level of its faculty ?
    • How can one know that its programs are regularly updated to take into account the latest research ?
    • How can one assess the solidity of its links with the professional world ?
    • Should a firm want to recruit a foreign candidate, how can they know about the real value of his or her diploma?
    • How can a company know the real value of the degree held by a foreign candidate it is considering recruiting?
  • International accreditations provide a response: an external institution, after a long auditing process, certifies that the accredited programs, no matter what their national origin, meet a set of common, universal standards of excellence.
